    Virtual Memory Questoin

Hi, sorry but i dont kno that much about computers and one of my questions is about virtual memory.
i only have 512MB of ram (Which doesnt seem to be enuff for bf2) and right now my type of ram is too expensive to buy and my computer only takes rambus ram.. so i was wondering if i were to bump up the amount of virutal memory my computer will allow..will it increase system/game performance (make it run better) (btw i have more than enuff harddrive space to spare)
your help would be greatly appreciated

Doubtful. The textures are then cached (stored) on your harddrive, and a harddrive cannot recall the textures as fast as GDDR (graphics card memory) or regular RAM can. The other thing that is probably killing you is the FX5200. It is on the low end of supported cards, infact I think one of the lowest cards supported.

Too much virtual memory can be detrimental. 1024 minimum and 1024 maximum seems to be the optimal amount for 90% of gamers out there.
I feel sorry for you having to be stuck with the awful RAMBUS crap though

Just do not set your Virtual memory to more then 2.5 times your physical RAM.
