Anybody get weird lines while over water?

Whenever I am flying over water say in a cobra, if I look at the water there are a few horizontal lines that go straight across the screen and move with me, like they are waves or something they just stay in that spot in the water. I've tried different types of drivers and it's still doin it...

Can't say I have ever seen them, only the spray effects that you see when you hover just above the surface, no lines.

Nope, whenever I take a screen shot they aren't there. may be from my monitor.

If it's just on the water, and not other areas, then it's probably not your monitor. Have you tried a lower AF setting?

What you are seeing is the shaders being drawn on the fly (while flying - pardon the pun). The shaders don't render all the way out across the whole map, instead it only applies shaders out to a specific distance which, in your case, you can see.

If you ever whatched 3DMark 01's Shader Test over the water, you will notice the same thing.

Sounds like artifacting to me, is your gpx card overclocked or it might be overheating?

Well at least you can take a screen shot. On my computer, taking a screen shot results in a hard lock, and a hard reset is required

Other than that the water and everything else looks normal on my GTX

It's not overheating, and it's not overclocked. I dunno wtf it is.
