    BF2 On Linux?

    I serched for this, but didnt turn any thing up.
    Can you run BF2 on Linux? and iff so is there anything special you have to do.

    I know there is a server build for Linux, however I do not believe a client can be run from Linux. You would have to check the Requirements.

      There is no client for Linux and I don't believe it has been successfully emulated either.

        You would need to run it under a 3rd party program called Cedega; however, you need to pay for a monthly subscription to get it.

          On EA's UK thread (a discussion with DICE dev. team) they mentioned that until there is an increased Linux use (for gaming) they will never have a game client for it.

          It's sad but true.
