How do you swim under water?

Was thinking how to get this to work. One way was to have the soldier enter an invisible vehicle they control the direction with their mouse.

I don't think I would have to add any new animations, just would look wierd when they "dive" and their feet are sticking 45 degrees out the water.


I'm curious if anyone has any success on this?

So basically to swim underwater there would have to be millions of invisble player control objects for the player to enter the water? Wont work :)

A better way would be to have LAR-5 rebreaters that spawn on docks, and soldiers could enter these like vehicles and swim underwater with them.

No, the "vehicle" would spawn around the soldier when they start the swim animation and automatically disappear when they end the swim animation.

Figure out how to do that and i'll give you a cookie because its very difficult to get a vehicle to spawn from using a key press let alone an animation. However I like the rebreather idea.

Unless this has to do with early 20th century physics, I dont see how much use he would be :P
