dude, here are some things you should include:

-tracer rounds (colored. red=enemies/blue=friendly)
-flash grenades
-the ability to shoot the parachutes themselves (not the man)
-bigger clips for higher level soldiers
-building where you can change/swap kits mid play
-in order to drive enemy vehicles, you should have to steal them (like Call of Duty)
-add weather (rain, snow, duststorms, overcast)
-add night (then add lights and headlamps...tracer rounds would be awesome here)
-longer run time (not longer swim time)
-faster vehicles and heavier armor when ranked official is in them

-possibly the ability to manage stats (armor, run, accuracy, distance of sight, flag raising time)

just a few thoughts

Adding rain or snow your computer and bf2 will freeze like crazy
unless you have 3 gegabytes of ram AMD 64 4200GHz and a Geforce 7800gt

as for the freezing, i think my amd 3800+ x2 and dual 7800gtxko's will handle it...
