Re: Internet connection speed
You should be alright, you should test your speed at www.dslreports.com to get your actual up and down stream speeds. Your upload speed is very important in gamin. -

Re: Internet connection speed
A 6800GT is a damn fine card and will perform very well, and 1G is what seems to be the "real" minimum for RAM. I'd recommend, as will others, 2 gig if you can get it. Although the 1.03 patch is supposed make the game run better on 1 gig.Comment

Re: Internet connection speed
Holy crap, yes you do have an issue. DeathGiver did you get that at dslreports.com? If so run a line quality test and see where your issue is. I have a 3/756 line and get perfect marks 250-260k transfer rates after Verizon repaired/replaced a bad router in NY.Comment

Re: Internet connection speed
Yea, your upload is a little low here. I have a 1.5/786 line with actual transfer rates of 1288 kbps / 620 kbps and that works nicely.Originally posted by DeathGiverMy connection has a problem with being a 3mb line.

And how is your line 3 Mb? Is that this Comcast crap where your 3 Mb is not guaranteed and that bandwidth is shared with 5000 people?Comment
