It seems that there is some sort of spyware/adware thing in that program, i just got many pop ups with the mediaplex thing and the cookie seems to reproduce itself when deleted. I did not get an installation program, it was just a .exe and dll.


Now to get rid of this...

I got the exe (injector) and the dll. No adware here what so ever... this is split right down the middle, half the people are having probs with an executable and the other half (with a couple exceptions) had azip file with 2 files in it...

Yeah, I guess I must have gotten the earlier version, because I never had a true "installer," and not gotten any strange adware (besides the annoying WinFixer, ugh).

Is this adware hard to get rid of, or is it simple running a malware removal program?

The exe injector is not spyware.

I cant believe the number of people on this board that will actually post absolute BS.

lol spazz if the hundred of people including myself say its adware then its adware .. we are only warning u.. and if u choose to ignor it thats ur own perogative... anyone whos smart will stay away from it till a clean version is available..

to answer Jdub.. yes its hard to remove.. requires restarting in safemod and deleting a good 30 registry keys that reproduce htemselves as ur trying to remove them.

the injector may not be spyware spazz but the instaler does come with it... its been prooven.

The injector is not spyware.

If people are too stupid to be careful of the sites they browse to when downloading files, it's their own problem.

BF2amp is not spyware. The injector is not spyware. You do not need to install anything to run this program, so maybe you shouldn't have been browsing porn sites while you downloaded this :p

Ok let me clear this up, the file that people claim isnt spyware... well it ISN'T if you have an injector, good. Because that's the real thing.

What happend is that the link changed after a few days to a new file, which infact DOES contain spyware, and ONLY spyware.

As mentioned before, I am investigating into this manner and if this is cleared up it will go back up, if not. Then no more BF2AMP.
