    1GB to 2GB Advantage Result

Saw this article on digg about the impact of 1gb vs 2gb of memory for BF2 and other things such as dvd encoding.
It showed dvd encoding and BF2 take full advantage of the extra memory but looks like 3dmark had no big gain at all. Check it out.
    Test by Corsair Memory.

Nice read. San Diego lol. Nice. I need my gig from OCZ so I can play BF2 on high. I can't even play on high with 1 gig of Corsair DDR400 and a PCI-E 6800 Ultra 256. Quite annoying.

Where in San Diego are you? I am in north county.

2 gigs does help a lot I bought some OCZ dual platinum from newegg couple months ago. I run everthing on high just fine with 2 gigs of ram, 9800 pro, amd 64 3200+

I thought I had all my settings on high but I know I turn the dynamic settings off and AA off. Looks like I have textures on medium. Oh well. Also I run at 1024 x 768
