What part of the settings makes the guns in the game look better for example when i watched the ambust at mastuur city, i noticed how nice the mini gun looked and on my game it looks like a octagon....but im willing to sacrifice some gameplay to make the guns look better

First check to see if there's a setting called "Make guns look good". If you select this option, the guns look good.
If that option is not available (which it isn't), you can instead increase the "Geometry" option. Makes sense; geometry = polycount. More polygons, better curved surfaces. -

The option u are probably looking for is texture quality. I had a 9800 pro and with texture on medium everything looked pretty good "with high/med settings and low visibility" , after upgrading to an x800xl i tried texture Quality at high pumped everything up and whoa what a difference. Im not sure of your system specs or how much your willing to spend but the price for that x800xl is around 300 now i think. Well worth it imo.Comment

Why didn't you read my post? Do you think I'm making this crap up? :cry:Originally posted by wbcninjaofmistThe option u are probably looking for is texture quality. Textures are the 2 dimensional surfaces of every 3D object in the game. The higher this setting, the better these surfaces appear, with more detail and realism. The original poster was talking about the 3D objects themselves (specifically the minigun), which is made up of polygons. He said the minigun looked like an "octagon", hence the polycount was insufficient to render what he wanted. Geometry is what you're interested in here, and that's the setting you should be looking at.
