    Mine = defaults.

    The only changes I made were to increase the sensitivity slightly of all mouse controls, and to set "invert mouse" for all mouse controls.

      For me I set f to switch to pistol and a button on my mouse to knife so when you run outta ammo with main weapon you can switch asap. Also I suggest setting sensativty to the max you can handle with fluid movement. You can also change the wheel on your mouse to do the pistol/knife thing which many people do. Its very helpful to set some button to a lesser weapon.

            I switched some stuff around for quicker access while on foot.
            F = Pickup Kit. Only have to move my finger one key over and frees G.
            G = Parachute. I don't want to ever have to reach up to 9 and try to save my butt again.
            L. Alt = Prone. Gives my thumb a second key to push :)

              I've changed around my config completely, but I wouldn't recomend it for a novice

              I kept the asdw for movement.
              F is for prone
              I kept shift as sprint.
              Knife is G
              Pistol is H
              Vehicle is C
              Q is parachute.
              I forget what I bound to E, but its important I know...possibly crouch
              R is still reload.

              Thats all I remember now, but I know I've changed everything because my joystick required a wacky keyboard configuration to configure my joystick to work with BF2

                    You know she's a CYLON right GFree?

                    You obviously like the show too. Do you get the SPACE station in the land down under also? Did you watch the original series, which is now being re-run on the SPACE network again? And what's with the series not started until mid-October? :cry:

                      F=Parachute
                      C=Prone
                      Mouse 4=Camera switch
                      Mouse 3=Voice Comm
                      I use numeric for weapons.

                        I've also changed things completely around. Only defaults are WASD for movement and G for changing kits.

                        TAB = Reload
                        Tilde (key above TAB) = Squad screen
                        Q = Spawn screen
                        C = Crouch
                        X = Prone
                        E = Parachute
                        R = Map
                        F = Zoom map
                        Middle Mouse (wheel) = Run
                        Mouse 3 = Ventrilo push to talk
                        Alt = VOIP push to talk
                        F1 = Scoreboard

                        Z = Squad/commander orders
                        H = Voice commands

                        Guess that's the most important.

                          You guys are all retarded if you use the default WASD keys. There is absolutely NO benefit to it over the UHJK settings. With UHJK, I have THREE buttons under my thumb while you schmoes only have the spacebar.

                          BF2 allows you to map the Windows keys so I have alt, rghtwin and space under my thumb (courch, sprint and jump, respectively). I did also tweak the other buttons so I could easily change weapons and what-have-you.
