this is so true
sometimes when a maps loading i will get the nice information telling me that it's loading up diffrent textures or whatever it says, at the moment i have all shadows off and yesterday it was playing with all the shadows off, i go to play today and what doya know all the shadows are back on and my hdd is being rinsed to death, i quit out the game check my settings and the shadows are off, go back ingame still there, what the feck is that about??

Stealing software is fun. And you shouldn't have that many objects in your system tray regardless. I only have NAV and my firewall. A little optimization goes a long way my friend.
