That's retarded, why the hell would there be a moden battle on Wake Island? Why not give China some love and have a city map in Beijing, (a-la Karkand).

That wake island map-is probably my favorite map--next to dalian (not oil fields)
nice and tight game play-even tighter than karkand.

Only if I could play it on Multiplayer .

Glitch=Maker of Wake Island. People are to constrained to their stats to even think about playing custom maps, even though some of them say that they are bored of BF2.

They need maps where taking out bridges does more than just force you to use the land bridge.

For those who don't remember Wake Island from BF:1942:



I figure they won't have the Battleship or the land based artillery???

And of course I'm pretty sure the Aircraft carrier will be fixed in position. Now the question is who is on which side?

In every map so far its been the US that has an Aircraft carrier...will the Chinese finally get one this time around or will the Chinese be on defense?

The USMC is defending this time around I think. Unless that was the description for the Wake Island in the map pack...

Either way I can't wait to be back on Wake Island. Even if you don't get to have the cool dogfights with the Corsairs and Zeros.

Unfortunately the map I made was considered to small to some people for flying planes, but that doesn't mean the planes arnt there. In my map the Chineese have the Aircraft Carrier and the US are on the mainland.
