New awards?!

I don't know how old this news is, I just downloaded Battlefield 2™ Awards Dashboard from http://www.eaplay.com/australia/downloads/.

Its just a pic of all the awards I uploaded the pic myself so you don't need to download it.

Hmm some of those badges have been cut out of the game it seems, like the binoculars and the ones to the right of them. Oh three of those ribbons have been also cut out.

#3 is the armor badge, but the rest are new (or old probably) like I said.

is number #4 not the infantry officer ribbon...just needs some stars and other colors

So you guys think these are awards cut from the game not new ones being added in the expansion or something?

Sigh, I really wanted to see what those ships ones would of been for.

would be nice for them to add new ribbons, as there is plenty of space left for them in the awards screen after getting them all...

The first badge is for taking fire while in a Mech Warrior machine thing, and the second one is for proficient use of the cross to ward away evil mec vampires and tieing them up with fancy white rope.

And Ribbon #5 is awarded for successfully slaying six sea monsters in one round.

Interesting, second one looks like some kind of naval badge, although I doubt the SF expansion will use it...

Oh, I remember most of these.

First one is: Award for progressively deteriorating eyesight.

I like the second: Prestigious medal for jumping off the carrier in Oman and swimming to shore like a man with 60kg of gear on your back.


The ribbons are good too. The illustrious 'pirate' ribbon, awarded to those who bravely swipe their team vehicles as they are being repaired by engineers, and the 'shish-kabob' ribbon, for standing too close to the burning car in Karkand (Note the tire iron).

Number 6 is obviously for saving the team jesters shoes from water with a float 3 times consecutively in a round. Makes perfect sense.
