First Rank Increase

So, I finally advanced a rank to Private First Class, I think, and with Lance Corporal being my next rank and I'm wondering when will I get a weapon unlock? Am I suppose to get an unlock now? If so HOW do I unlock a weapon?

You'll get the unlock at Lance Corp. When you get that promation, exit the game (all the way to Windows) and then when you restart it and log in again you'll get a pop-up asking you to select an unlock or if you'd rather wait.

You might want to play on an unranked server that has all the weapons unlocked. That way you can test out different weapons to see what your next unlock will be... just a thought.
