Would you start over?

So I have gotten a lot better at BF2 since I started. At first I used my old gameplay style from quake and unreal, it just didn't work. I have gotten MUCH better now and I am wondering if I should start over. I have played with a new account for a few days and my stats are looking much better, but I am not sure if it's worth losing my rank and 2 unlocks...what would you do?

What would the point be in starting a new account?

If you are THAT concerned about what your stats look like, then you should go with your new account.

If you are a normal person that enjoys simply playing the game..then stick with what you have

Yeah I think I will probably keep my current account...it will keep getting better over time anyway. But I am curious as to what others would do. That 3.06 SPM is pretty impressive. :)

ummmm no... I thought about it, cause of my death to kill ratio pretty bad, but in the last week I have closed the gap by 1/2 and getting better. Took me to much time to get to where I am now (not very far 13,000 global) and starting over would be the doom of BF2 for me.

I wouldn't start a new account just to get nicer looking stats. I did start a new account to get a different unlock, because I didn't like my first unlock much.

I switched clans and started over. I was a sergeant with 35000 points and a 1.15 K/D.

My K/D right now is about 2.0 and I'm ranking a lot faster. It's worth it.

if only people could change their nicknames...

i still dont understand this crap, there are console commands to change your nickname, there are other ways or tracking an account outside of the email that is registered to the account... come on... pain in the azz i say.

I did the same back when unlocks were far apart. My old account with ~2000 points still has a badge that I haven't gotten yet with my new account (20,000+). I don't make a lot of effort just to get badges.

I love my stats, they're my record from day 1.
Why would i start again and lose 9 months of history ?

you dont have to lose all of your stats and weapons, just open a new account and play with it..... if you feel the need to go and frag with the F2000, do so.... thats what i did

would i abandon my original account to start a new one for my stats??? um NO! doesnt the defeat the purpose of the stats? i mean arent eh suppoed to show player growth? if you make a new account your just lying to yourself, just like all the ugly fat girls who dont think they are.

Your stats aren't that bad. You need to start playing more vehicles to get your score and k/d up.

I started over when I passed 20K with my first account since I got robbed by DICE on the knife badge twice. I was just so ****ed off that I never got the badge even though I earned it before hitting 20K.

I ended up starting over and cut my time in half in reaching 20K with all badges.

Play hard and just have fun.
