How do you control the TV guided missle?

I have seen and been in the sights of some helo gunners that could thread a needle with the TV guided missle on the attack helos. I have only tried a few times but I can't seem to figure out how to guide the missle once it is fired.
When I see people that could ram that missle up an ants bum and I can't even hit the broad side of the barn...WTF??
Anybody have any suggestions?

u aim the pointer with the mouse and continously click where u want the missile to go...

Your best bet is to click where the target is going to be. Then make a few adjustments as you get closer. Basically keep clicking on the target as much as you can when the missile makes the final approach. If you are lucky you get 3 or 4 clicks before it hits.

The real trick is to get off quick snap shots under pressure. If you make the pilot wait too long for you to fire then you are both sitting ducks.

Sadly, after 12000 global points and a lot of that time in [the back seat of] a chopper this is news to me. I thought there was one correction after firing and I thought you did it by moving your mouse after firing, not clicking.

Well... It looks like I just learned something new. I was having a tough time controlling the TV guided missles, too. Now I have to try the click click click method

Lmao I never even knew that. I just click to fire and let the missile fly to the crosshair location. Hmm I must test this.

it takes me like 3 seconds of clicking before i can even fire off the shot because i lag more in the "tv mode"

This is the one point in this game that no one seems to havea freakin clue.

I fire and hold the button down and it guides 80% of the time, but sometimes it just doesnt do anything.

Maybe its some EA/Dice special source?

There are even times when you "shoot", and you hear it instantly blow up, and you need to wait for the reload. That's a bug that needs to be fixed.

I guess .. this is something that is written in USER MANUAL .. but user manual that I recieved is like collection Of "Hitlers good works for ppl" ... it has 15 pages
