Sound not working?

My battlefield sound isnt working, the music, or sound effects. But VOIP sound works? Any help?

Sounds silly, but are the volume sliders at the correct positions ingame?

You might want to make sure the Windows Control Panel/Sound Options shows the actual number of speakers connected to the PC. This setting is often changed by who knows what and can cause a loss of some sounds while still playing others.

If you have a 3rd party sound card (Sound Blaster) and an onboard sound chip, you will want to disable the onboard, and let the Sound Blaster handle the sound processing.
