Ever get hit with a grenade and die?

I was playing on karkand and someone threw a grenade right at me. I flew straight into my face and i died. It did not explode, just getting hit with it killed me.

Also, again on karkand, i threw a grenade on a short building where i knew a USMC was hiding. The first one blew up but he was still alive. I threw another one and right when it cleared the building and should have been landing beside him, it said i killed him, and after it exploded 2 sec later.
I dont think it was lag because the grenade exploded after he was already dead. Also, the timing was perfect, i threw it and right when it should have been close to him, thats whey he died, so I'm pretty sure it actally hit him.

This happen to anyone else?

Hmmm can't say that I have ever seen this. I have been hit in the face with an Eryx before. Pretty damn funny. We were both laughin histerically. As far as nades go, I guess it can happen since it is an actual object in the game.

I've injured a teammate by hitting him with a smoke grenade. :)

In the old FPS TacticalOps, 'nades did 2hp dmg to anyone, including teammates. I've gotten kills tossing nades in someone's direction, only to peg them for the kill :)

I'm not sure if the nades in CS:S do the same, but I'd expect this is along the lines of whats happening in bf2....nades causing minor amounts of dmg from the nade itself.

They need a more detailed hitbox. 'Nade hitting the nads = fall to ground in fetal, grasping said nads, calling for medic (or mommy.)

Never been hit with a grenade but I've had someone jump on be stomping my head into the ground and killing me. It was quite embarassing. I looked up and the last thing I saw was feet.

I haven't been counting, but I have killed around 5 people by just throwing a grenade right at them. Pretty funny.

Hmm, i've heard reports of smoke nades hitting enemies, then the enemy dies, it must be awesome.

I first noticed it the other day when i threw a nade at someone and my crosshairs lit up that was really funny

I had heard you could kill someone with smoke grenades but I've never done it

I have done both, we where Practicing for a match and were screwing around. I threw a Smoke nade at someone and killed them with full health. It does say [Smoke Grenade] when you kill them. I have also done the same with a regular Nade.

Obviously people only use grenades on Karkand... GTFO and go back to your chopper flyboy.

I have witnessed a guy jump off a building - open chute and land on an enemy and kill him - no shots - both were full health they said. The one that landed on the other took half damage but lived. Just said [killed] - not [landed on the tard's head]
