    wont start

ok, its not as bad as the title suggests but its still quite annoying. whenever i put bf2 in it wont start but then i just eject and put it back in and its fine even without cleaning it! it always works 2nd time never anymore times than that but i wonder why it doesnt work first time
    any help?

Are you saying that the CD/DVD won't auto start when you pop the disk in the drive? If that's the case, check the Windows Auto Play function.

Or are you saying that the game can't find the disk when you click the icon to begin playing BF2?

Then I would suggest you try to borrow another optical drive to make sure but chances are fairly high that the drive is failing. Those drives are made cheaper and cheaper each year and it is no longer uncommon for a CD ROM drive to fail.
