Couple notes on repairing...

The driver exits on the LEFT side of tanks. So when you need repairs be sure to angle the tank so when you exit your not exposed to any small arms fire.

Also, while repairing keep your head down and always move. With your head down it's tougher for a sniper to get the one shot kill. If your moving and you get sniped you'll probably be down to 2 bars health, but at least you can get back in the tank.

It doesn't hurt to pop smoke and repair either.

find another engineer buddy in a tank or apc, while your engineer in another stay with him and your golden. well most of the time anyways

You're right. Convoys are ALWAYS better than you or your teammate getting out of your vehicle to repair.

This article wasn't about Tank Convoys, but rather just you and a buddy in a tank solo.

When I'm passenger I enter the other vehicle instead of trying to repair the vehicle I'm currently in with my wrench.

[No] I have gotten 20+ kill streaks that would have only lasted about 3-5 kills because I have gotten out and repaired, with at least 3 AT enemies on the other side of a smoke screen, around 20m away.

Just drive away from teammates and zoom in on ur map; if you see a blue dot rushing towards ur tank, press e.

It's that simple.

Getting out of your own tank to repair it is as good as guaranteeing an enemy or teammate will take it from you.

Convoys just rule... Look at my sig, it was a screenshot from an actual game - 2 APC's and a Tank, all us as engineer... We didn't die

i have so much bad luck in a tank, although ive gotten a bit better since i increased the sensitivity when using land vehicles, i always get blown up easily by AT guys. But when im AT and ive fired 3 rockets at another tank they just never blow up grrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Probably because you don't see the supply crate or engineer repairing it.

When shooting an AT rocket, keep your reticle off the tank as long as possible. As long as you don't have the reticle on the tank he won't hear the warning.

I always go engineer when I use armor. When I jump out to repair if I even think there might be enemy around, I drop a mine in front and behind while I'm circling the tank repairing. I have NEVER had a tank stolen from me y the ENEMY. CONSTANTLY being stolen by my own team though while I'm repairing.

Nice post,best is the AT/Engy combo though the engy must be the driver!
Ouhh and when U R reparing tank in a combat but U fear that someone will stel Ur tank try to toss a AT mine in front and at the rear of the tank.
The guy inside has no chance to move.

P.S.I hate when Armour drivers are Commanders and any other class then Engy cause if U have 3 armour engy drivers who stick together Ur unbeatable!
