You cannot MINE with an Engineer in this game...ARG

An engineer is probably one of the best classes against enemy vehicles with their AT mines, BUT the problem is that it seems no matter where I place my AT mines my teammates will gravitate towards them, even when I place then near enemy bases.

I place my AT mines around enemy bases exclusively, but my teammates STILL find them punish me...ARRGGGGGGGG



Other than being on a FF off server, what can I do?

Sadly there is nothing that can be done about this. I am going to close this thread, only because this has been brought up many times, and there really is no solution to it.

I feel your pain as I play engineer often. There are some maps that you can mine on, certain flags only... and there are some that are a bad waste of mines. Keep them and throw them like frisbees onto the hood of enemy vehicles when they aren't looking.

What can you do?

Dont place mines. Sadly enough this is the only real way to keep the toolbags from your team from running into your mines. If you place it.. they will come. Same for claymores.

Don't play on 64 player servers, they are always full of punish noobs.
