Eek, alright i have gotten into such a big pile of crap its unbelievable, at this stage right now i just want to know if there is anyprogram to open up the .exe file patch 1.02 without having to go to the welcome screen because before i get there it says "cannot find install Battlefield 2 folder" it is such a mess. So if anyone knows how to open the patch and extract the files so i can stick them into the battlefield folder that would be great. I should make a novel about how this happenend, it all started from me being upset with my microphone. Ok anyways if anyone knows the answer that would be AWESOME.

Holy Crap, sound like fun. You unfortunately might need a reinstall. Make sure your path on install matches 1.02's. Good Luck

I have already done all that, except the disc1 thing but it is not that because it is not the cd-rom or cd drive becuase i can extract the content from both. Its something to dow ith my computer, anyways does anyone know how to extract files from the patch because unfortunatly the way the other guy mentioned to extract files from the patch did not work for two reasons, 1. I cannot even get to the welcome screen before i get the "Cannot find Battlfield 2 install folder," and also i cannot find the specific alpha coding for the file he wanted. Is there a way to take out the actual files from the patch and stick them into the battlefield folder? Thanks-
