Does someone have a note of ALL firewall ports?

I've found a couple of different posts regarding firewall ports required to be open for BF2, so can someone clarify?

Also, does anyone know which port starts the "conversation" for TCP and UDP? That way I can combine multiple ports into one firewall statement.

    Thanks in advance.

Check the User Manual. I believe they are all listed in there.

Weird.... I've seen BF2 servers on ports other than those listed there, which is mainly why I asked as it seems to be getting harder to find a definitive list of what's needed.

        Thanks for the links.

Well, that's things working now, but I've no idea how. I've spent loads of time trying many different things on the PC, firewall etc and suddenly its working which is incredibly fortunate but also very annoying as I can't pass on the info as to what fixed it.

Perhaps we can blame the ISP for blocking certian UDP Ports?

                lol.

When I disabled the firewall and it still didn't work, I almost gave up...

Disabling doesnt work either. All that does is shut off the ports.

How come? If I disable my hardware firewall, surely the PC is totally open to initiate and accept sessions on all TCP/UDP ports?

Disabling firewalls will not work Unfortunately, in most cases, firewalls/proxies cannot simply be disabled in order to allow you to use Arcade and your game. Disabling the firewall / proxy will not open the necessary ports. It will simply shut down the firewall/proxy and leave the ports closed. Also, many factors may conflict with your firewall: Internet Connection Sharing, the use of more than one firewall, or your operating system may all cause conflicts that keep you from enjoying Arcade. To work around these issues, you will need to consult the manufacturer of your firewall/proxy.
