Crashing On Maploading

My computer crashes every time i try to play BF2. It happens about 1/2 way through maploading.It will either crash the computer completly or just to desktop. My computer specs are.

AMD64 4000+
DFI Ultra-D NF4
1GB OCZ EL PC3200
Nvidia 7800GTX
120gb 7200.7 Seagate
Noisetaker 485W PSU

I have the latest driver for my GFX card. Any help would be appreciated thank you.

Try a forum search for "CTD" or "Crash to Desktop" things like that. I know this has been addressed, and I'm sure you will find your answer there.

Mine crashed to desk sometimes... always at the end of a map. I have noticed though, that sometimes when I start a new map I see a bunch of people disconnect right at the start... bet you they all didnt decide to stop playing.... so sometimes I am able to continue when others CTD I think. Seems random, and possilbly some servers make me CTD more than others, since depending on server I have played all night no problem and also I have CTD multiple times in a night
