"INGAME" Joystick problem??

So I have never had a problem like this before and I have no clue what to do. My joystick isnt responding in game with bf2 anymore it was working fine but now its not. I am able to assign my joystick keys in the controls menu of the game and its responding to other programs just not "ingame" once I 've joined a server in bf2. I have a cyborg evo, anybody have the slightest??

Did you install the driver software that came with it or are you using the default windows plug and play driver?

I tryed reinstalling the game twice now, infact i did a full reformat of my harddrive and still nothing. Im using the drivers that came with my joystick and it doesnt seem to be the joystick cause it works fine on my friends computer....could it be my usb ports going bad cause my mouse also crapped on me as well??? It just doesnt make sense cause the joystick responds when I calibrate it and when I assign the keys in the controls menu of bf2 just not "ingame", Im really starting to worry and I have no idea what to do??
