I am not looking forward to the change that will be made in the patch in regards to the Blackhawk. I have only "blackhawk whored" twice. I didn't find it too much fun, just sitting in the back with my wench, repairing the whole time. I later found out, that one of the times I did this and recieved a score of 179, I was on a non-ranked server.:laugh:
I am not looking forward to the change because, I do not believe there is any problem with it, and there is nothing I love more than taking out fully loaded blackhawks!
On Saturday night, I was playing on the Stalemate map. I was on the Chinese team in my trusty tank playing as an engineer as usual. A well organized clan was manning the blackhawk and doing what we all know they do. I have become very good at shooting the tanks at long distances. I love the stalemate map, because it is great for anti-blackhawk whoring. I decend from the western chinese base on the hill, and sit on the road waiting for the blackhawk.
On Saturday night in one game I took out the fully loaded blackhawk 6 times! This was out of 13 encounters. (It would have been 7 but someone on my team hit them with the Ernx after I hit them twice with the tank). The pilot was skilled, he could fly well, I just hit them from so far they had no idea what was happening. With engineers on board who know what they are doing it takes three hits to take it down since they will begin to repair immediately.
As the BH decends on a flag I hit them, the pilot knows this, hits the throttle to go back up, this takes time, so I get one more hit as he starts to leave, it takes a lot of skill to get the third hit as the BH is leaving the area as fast as it can. Greedy pilots are much easier to kill.
That round I scored 93 points. I killed 51 died only 3 times.
I also do this a lot on the Mash City map. It feels great taking these suckers down. I am not looking forward to the patch as it might make an end to BH whoring! I will therefore not be able to anti-BH whore.:cry: I think it is great that the game promotes that kind of teamwork. Trust me, you can rake in the points (if that is what you like) by anti-BH whoring.
