Balcony in KARKAND

Hello all,

I play Karkand a lot on my own server and the other day there was a couple of guys on a balcony next to the MEC's first flag (the one where most start at to only get noob tubed by the US) - I have tried for 2 days getting up there, and cannot do so. Has anyone been able to get to that balcony? If you don't know which one I am talking about, check it out the next time you play. If you are coming from the US base down the road you have the first MEC flag on the right then a building then a balcony on the right. See if you can get up there. I have tried the building behind it with no luck. When I tried joining the squad and spawning on the leader he quit the squad. My only other determination is some sort of spawn/jump hack? If you know how to get up there, please share

You can get on top of buildings when you're on an Unranked server with Friendly fired turned off.

Place one or more C4 and explode it under you to propel you to your elevated position.

Otherwise there are some places you can jump to get onto balconies that normally aren't used, but they really aren't that useful to get to.

Go onto the roof of the house and then onto the railings running parallel with the alleyway. then it's just a run and jump. You really need to leave the railing as close to the edge as possible else you'll miss and fall.

I'll go grab a screenshot to try and illustrate.

There are plenty of Ranked servers out there as well that have FF off.

Yea it's gotta be right near the edge, I've fallen so many times trying that I barely bother using it in-game.

I still think that noobs don't really know how to time the jump right where that balcony is.

lol I will try that.. i have fallen to my death so many times off that spot its not even funny. Don't even bother pressing your parachute.. cuz it won't help ya there...lol

Its a hell of a good spot for guarding that first base. If your commander gives you a supply drop on that building, you have endless grenades and can pretty much protect that base by yourself. But you wont get many kills from anything else. thanks for the pics, i was wondering myself how they got up there. I think people wanted tokeep it a secret cause the person i spawn on up there quickly left his squad, created another and locked it with just him inside. thanks for letting the rest of us know

i'll try it at a 24/7 karkand server today. i hope i don't get banned. stupid admins will probly think i'm glitching or hacking.
