What is it with this forum ?

I posted a complaint about BF2 yesterday.. no profanity, no on and on
rambling, just a honest legitimate and factual complaint about the game,
and more specifically, the long wait of this 1.03 patch, and what happens?
I get censored, thread gets locked. (not to mention I get 2 immediate
persons posting 'This thread should be locked' OMG, thats hilarious)

Are we not allowed to complain about BF2 ? Not all of my posts are
complaints, but when there is something OBVIOUSLY wrong with this
game, or a lack of effort by its creators to fix problems, Im gonna say my
piece..

Hell, Ive almost stopped coming here, lately, Ive had 2 threads closed
almost immediately regarding the delay of the patch.. this place is
becoming the kgb of forums for bf2. Every time I have posted my
opinion about something that needs to fixec, I get 8 EA brown nosers
saying to lock the thread... ooohhh.. no negative remarks about their
precious game here..

Sorry, I just dont have happy happy joy joy thoughts about this game, like
you want me too.. my 40 bucks was just as valuable as yours was..
and if you dont want complaints of legitimate types occuring, perhaps
you should post a big banner on your main page stating so.. and yes,
people are going to double post, so what... and yes, there are going to
be duplicate topics, so what.. you running out of hard drive space ?
I doubt it.

now go ahead, delete this thread, or lock it.. delete my whole account,
for all I care, you'd be doing me a favor.. This forum sure as hell isnt
fair or balanced..

Every other post is a complaint, several regarding the 1.03 patch.

Complaining dosen't help though. EA knows the bugs and they're going to get fixed. Threads with the same complaints over and over again are just useless and use up bandwidth!

I'm not sure what you're upset about exactly. Are you complaining that people can't respond to your "complaining" threads or posts because they're locked or closed?
Do you feel that voicing your concerns about BF2 isn't enough?

I guess I don't understand the feeling of entitlement that you have where things should be the way you want on a website that isn't owned, or moderated by you...

I am not sure what your complaint is. You started a thread about things that have been mentioned 100 times, and a moderator closed it. Everyone who posted in reply to your thread has seen the 100 other threads about the same things, you were not getting any pitty there, and apparently you are not getting any here.

Perhaps you should rethink what you are actually upset about. And whether it has been talked about or not. You have not created a lot of posts and perhaps you are just one of the many people who create an account and instead of searching, wants to start up thier own thread. You are not the first person to do this, and you certainly will not be the last.

BF2 is in a holding pattern, we are anxiously awaiting the 1.03 patch, then the boards will be filled with topics about that. People come to the forum looking for news, and what do they see? No news, and threads such as yours complaining about the things everyone else has been complaining about since the 1.02 patch.

You are in a good position now, when 1.03 is released you will be able to create threads complaining about it, that nobody has seen before, and therefore you won't get shot down by the .... what term did you use "EA brown nosers". Then in a month when you have read all the threads about it, and created so many of your own, you will become one of those same people who, "know it all already" and you can type such lovely responses as "in b4 lock"

So hang in there buddy, you can make it :)

People are just getting tired of reading complaint after complaint about the patch and the expansion.

This was a general forum for any discussions regarding bf2 but now it might as well be renamed the complaints forum.
The patch is coming, the game (as it is now) is apparently flawed with minor problems which keep attracting the same posts about hating EA, the game, whatever
There's only so many repetitive posts that can be made before people start getting bored and pi**ed off at always reading the same thing.

If you're post has already been previously written by someone else, what gives you the right to write the same thing again?

Every time I come on here theres pages and pages of "new" threads most of which are remakes of previous posts. Why shouldn't the repetitive posts be removed?

EDIT: I agree with what he said ^^^ (only he wrote it better :p )

I would imagine that if you posted something valid - rather than a subject that has been beaten more times than your father in prison - people might actually enjoy reading it - rather than it taking up space on the first page.

ROFL!! 90% of the threads are complaints or people posting about somebody h4x0r1nG on some server. It's gotten real old, QUICK. The tide is turning...we all know the game has major issues, they've been talked about to death. Let's move on. Unless your complaint is something new that nobody else has ever posted about, it's just more noise. When I first joined here back in January or so, this was the place to find BF2 information. Now it's the place to find BF2 complaints.

Agreed.... However, you still gotta give totalbf2.com some props. There is less whining and insults here than over at planetbattlefield.com Thats why I frequent these boards than go over there.

All the ones who start the complaint topics about the patches & the flaws are PROBABLY the ones who haven't removed there BF2 CD from their ROM since they bought the game!
