Difference between HIGH and Ultra High gfx settings?

    Hi.

I recently saw a thread on another forum in which a guy explained that you could manually open the Video.con file and change the value 3 (which means High) to 4 (which means Ultra-high). It is only possible to use this setting by editing the .con files - you can only reach level 3 (High) from the in-game menus.

Now, what difference does this make? And why isn't it accessible in the in-game menus? Is it experimental and not yet finished or something?

And for those of you who have tried it, or are using it; did you notice any better quality on the graphics in the game? And was there a noticable FPS reduction?

I hope someone can enlighten me :)

one thing it DID change was my FPS. It absolutly slaughtered them. I could run it at about 100-60fps and on ultra, it dropped it down to 30-50fps.

Hmm I guess I might aswell turn it off then..

I upgraded my PC about a week ago, and changed all the values from 1 -> 4, plus AA and AF from 0x to 8x - and obviously I noticed a difference :p

Problem is that I sometimes, like when 8+ players are in the screen at the same time, notice slowdowns. Going from Ultra High to High is probably my best bet then. Thanks :)
