here's how you effectively repair 100% of the time:

1. sit on any of the back seats
2. pull out your wrench
3. look up
4. hit f10

kinda like this:



the beauty of this is that:

a. you'll repair everytime (remember that sometimes, you'll repair even though it's not making any sound)
b. you may even become a better pilot by watching others fly and learning from them
c. you won't get bored looking at the floor/ceiling 'cos you'll be watching the whole thing!

nice idea.... I've been telling my guys to not watch the wrench animation, just move the circle around untill you see the health bar come up, then, animation or no animation, keep pressing down...

and yeah, cry some more ffs, just learn to take it down. 7 of us played yesterday on Songura, and I was the only one stuck on Chinese -- so I stuck 2 of 5 C4's to a flagpole, waited for my buddies to come along in their BH, and dropped it when they tried to cap the flag, picking up 6 kills :)

Well the next patch is supposed to make that harder by increasing the time it takes to repair.

bah but wheres the fun in that, no sport in it at all, i want em to feel safe as me LAV rips through the sides and bodys fly everywhere, just makes that kill all the sweeter, oh and they keep spawning back in it for me to kill em some more, which i find really nice of them :p

dont bother, mec and pla choppers drop like flies as they do not have twin mounted aoe rayguns.

yeah, it works EVERY SINGLE TIME!

just remember to pull out your magic wrench, look up AND THEN press F10. you'll be repairing and watching the whole thing and getting a lot of points!

Put the MEC attack chopper gun on the trans choppers for mec/china, that would even things up.
Now back to topic does this work for other vehicals? I think it would work on the AA.

Make the most of BH whoring, as Dice have said in 1.03 only the pilot can cap the flag, the rest of the crew will have to get out to cap the flag and the repair has been slowed down.

Same for loaded APC's ect only the driver can stay in and cap the flag.

Q: What are the main fixes in this patch?
A: I think one of the more popular ones will be that players have to get out of a Blackhawk to capture a flag. Now in a full Blackhawk only the pilot counts in the flag capture raduis.
