thank u for going to a chinese government controlled web site and copy iys stuff, and no i cant a lot read simplified chinese but i can read traditional, that artical u posted was about america and china's relationship. and stop saying "oh u americans are bastards blah blah blah, if it wasnt for the US, nazi germany wouldve won WWII, and dont forget about the japanese, america puts their asses on the line to save other countries, remember the war in bosnia? only the US was helping, and dont get me started on the cold war between east and west germany

Majority of the people on this forum are too young to remember what happened in 1989. That guy standing in front of those tanks has been burned into my memory and I aint ever gonna forget that day.

Im 14 so iw as born in 91. but i know all about that. ive read multiple books on it. that guy is probably the bravest person ive ever heard of. he then climbed on to the tank. fighting for democracy.

It's from that big student protest in China. And the images of a student trying to stop a tank were shown around the world.

He even made it onto Time Magazine's list of the 100 most important people of the 20th century. From what I've read, he was never killed or even arrested.

Thats kind of bad seeing as many people died and that man was tourted to death for trying to stop the tanks.

Very bad idea for that picture.

considering that no-one was even thinking of making fun of it at all, i think its appropriate. its just a re-enactment of the scene, if you think this is bad, you must hate all those civil war re-enactments that the yanks do, all fact-based war films (saving private ryan etc.) and indeed war based games (battlefield2!!!)

so stop complaining.
