A lot of ammo in the real world dont just blow up. Like bombs on a plane, you have to ARM the bomb before it becomes a live deadly weapon. If you drop a bomb from a plane and it the bomb is not armed, then all you did was drop a 500lb rock. Thus if the plane blows up and the bomb is not armed, the bomb does not blowup as well. Im sure a lot of weapons are like this also...

In real life a missle would go off if its damaged and unarmed. You must realize there are chemicals and a trigger, whether it be the intermix of 2 chemicals or a sparker. In the end no matter how many safeguards you put into place they are every bit fragile and can be set off by suffering light damage.

I doubt you'd be saying that if your the one trying to shoot a nuclear warhead with any sort of gun. Which is the primary reason the silo's are governed by a strict set of rules. Only authorized personel are permitted any sort of weaponary in or around the warhead.

Planes at bombing the explosions r quite large as for tanks,heli,etc... Can ya say WACK.. :cussing:
