I was just looking at the homepage of bf2s.com, i looked at the top 10, i saw what unlocks they chose, i was quite suprised, the least chosen unlock is the G36C for them, and everybody has a L85A1. More people even unlocked the shotties or G3 than the g36C, i'm certainly surprised. I thought taht G36C was the most well rounded and most popular unlock. Are you surprised about this?

That's because people who play Spec Ops don't score as much as others. Spec Ops doesn't have any team points other than caps and KDA's and whatnot, he doesn't have body armor, and he needs to get his toes ran over to blow up a tank. Oh and plus the AK101 is way better than any wimpy carbine. -

Well, it seems it's still the most popular class, especially after 1.03, points for blowing enemy assets are coming. And the AK101 isn't a match for a carbine in longer distances. Plus Spec Ops can take out tanks, make C4 boobytraps, and they have a real accurate weapon. Do all the best players always become medic and get 100 point rounds each game or something, cause that's what it seems like, all the top people use ,medic. Yet, on this forum, tons of people say they have and love the G36C.Originally posted by RamseusComment

YEah, i know, all the fun combat has been replaced by armor whoring and ammo/health whoring. I remember the good days when the demo came out, everybody was mad at support and sniper. And people said the Assault sucked, until noobnading came along. And everybody said the Spec Ops was the best, because we didn't have those damn stats about weapons. I think that really ruined it, once people got the statistics for all weapons, they wold look at all the weapons, and play the most balanced one, which was probably the Ak101 or something like that. I said the first week or so of the demo, nobody played assault much, because they didn't know about body armor, and the significance of assault. And i wouldn't say they misused it, I would say the bunny-hopping-noob-naders misuse assault, but iexpect ea to fix this in 1.03. people just dont know how to use the spec ops kit IF they want to earn points with it. so they stat pad harvest point whore tanks and misuse the GL, well then you met the wrong guy. Tanks no problem flank them fast make a trap and lure them into it, GL's just sprint right into the pricks face, he'll think twice about trying to blow you up again. and the M4 and QBZ97 are great weapons for long range aswell as close up and personel. sadly its alot of the bugs that dont let people realize how they should use a kit, a deffine their own playing style instead doing what the crowd does.Comment

not true, with the g36 and c4 i can get upwards of 20 kills per round, deaths varying but usually comming out so i get a 2:1 ratio or better. The g36 rocks on medium sized maps with land vehicles such as dalian or mashuturr.Originally posted by RamseusComment

Sheesh, good thing I have a 2.2 to 1 assault rifle to grenade launcher ratio.
And I don't have either the G36C or L85A1 unlocked. :p But the G36C is next on the list.
