tbh the fact that an expansion is coming so soon just shows what EA thinks of its customers...."ignorant sources of money" look at the sims ffs you waste money on some pointless expansion (when bf2 clearly needs a lot more work) and then some more will come all designed to simply squeeze ur money and hope you are so high on the game that you will waste your money without question...soon itll be bf2:special forces (sounds **** tbh cos cqb can be screwed up at times) then itll be bf2: Scotland conflict or some other ball**** like that...

i will buy the exp only for the apache heli. i hate the sneeking around and night vision crap, i prob wont play those maps. also, i will be playing mods like FH2, so mayby the exp wont even be nesicary.

Also that, if 1.03 doesn't give us what we want, than i might not buy it. I mean, look at the previews on gamespot, that was much better than now. I mean, they actually coulda avoided noobnaders because before, they actually used iron sights for nade launchers, now they just have a reticule. And you can see that there were laser designators and all, as well as binoculars. Before BF2 came out, i was so excited, but i'm realy disappointed now. I woulda liked to play the REAL Kubra Dam, they changed it, cause before it was way better than how it is now. EA woulda been better out just releasing it at their original launch date of March 21 and not making tweaks that we all know ruin the game. I'm dissapointed by EA, and BF2 is the least of my disappointment. If anybody remembers those old C&c games, they rocked the socks off of other stratagy games. But EA has even stopped the funding for it all together, no more patches for C&C, and they basically replaced their succesful, well known C&C enterprise with what we now know is the not so good selling Lord of the Rings battle for mid-earth.

C&C was l33t. I still play Generals: Zero Hour
Also, Rome:Total War is hella fun, but the on-line play is laughable, as it's impossible to find a server that works.

instead of putting all the goodies they EA promised in regular BF2, they decided to make an expansion pack and then charge you for it, u have to give them credit, they are smarter than us. you all have just been tricked into paying another 20 or 30 bucks for something that should have been there from the start.

Im not buying it.. If the expansion pack comes out before the patch, Im not buying it. What if the expansion pack is buggy? That means I'll probably have to buy the second expansion pack to get it fixed..

youd be a moron to buy the xpack its ridiclous when youcan get mods for free and the fact ea sucks ya cant forget about that one the expansion is gonna be stupid and add even more complaints about the game

I hope I won't have to. Sometimes when GOOD expansion packs are released, everybody from the original game moves to that -- Then there'll be not alot of people to play with on the original BF2. Anyways, the BF2 community could add all that zipline and nightvision crap with a mod -- And it'd probably turn out better than what EA could pump out.

I seriously didn't like the support DICE Canada gave for Battlefield:Vietnam. The content and features were strong, but lacked support and balance.

they can be out of beta form..

because this game as it is today is still beta...

I agree with a lot of the opinions about the patch fixing some of the problems we are having now, and the opinions that the expansion pack is coming out very early, but truth be told I will most likely buy the expansion pack the day it is released. BF2, even with all its bugs and problems is still my favorite game!
