Problems with BF2, High setup-

ASUS SLI DELUXE
2GB DUAL CHANNEL PC3200 RAM 2x1GB
3800+ VENICE AT STOCK
ASUS 7800GTX AT STOCK 78.01 drivers
AUDIGY 2 ZS

Settings- ALL HIGH including sound 4xAA Sound set to hardware 1152x864

1st Problem- With my setup it goes down to 46-50 fps in crowded situations. Is this normal??? I thought it could handle 1600x1200 resolutions no problem???? Also sometimes the grass "flashes"

2nd Problem- SOUND, When im looking at a viechle that im located in on the outside view there is no sound. In the viechle there is sound. Whats going on?

your eyes wouldnt notice if it went to 40 fps.. at like 30 you probly notice the slightest bit if not at all. all high with 4aa will do that in crowded areas. I duno about the sound though.

I have same things happening to me.
I CAN notice the difference between 60FPS and 100FPS, but im not bothered.
But the sound issue is bothering me, anyone can sneak upto you and you cant even hear the footsteps.

wtf i installed new drivers and now i get some language error wenever i start up windows.
