Peace Sign

I was playing as USMC earlier tosday on the Mushtafar map when I noticed that the marine in front of me had a peace sign on his pack. I never took the time to look too closely before so I'm wondering if this is standard on some of the skins or some type of customized skinning. BTW this was on a ranked server and I believe the guy was AT.
