I can model 3d stuff but I never done a mod, so is it possible to have a customised sniper rifle? if so and I dies during the game, can others use it? or...
If you make a new weapon and insert it in the game you have to make an MOD because you can not play with modified content on regular servers. You can play this mod or your original BF2 with the modded weapon in singleplayer.
If you wanna play online and fight against other players with your weapon you have to run your own server with your mod or find someone who runs the mod for you on his server. You also have to release your mod to the public, otherwise noone can join your game.
When you did all of this and someone kills you in game , then he can take your gun, hehe. But he can have it also if he just uses the same kit-type.
wow, that is so tough, somehow I though of showing off a new weapon to others and say "hay look what I have...hehe " it has a rocket launcher, sniper and a machine gun, its not going to work :)
I heard you must pay money to have your own server? is that correct also why on earth is 64 the highest that you can have in a server?
If you have an physical dedicated server for yourself you can run an bf2 server without paying extra (only if you wanna have a ranked server), but if you have not you have to rent one. Thats all I can say about.
About the 64 players , I dont know , in singlepalyer i can set more the 64 bots, but you need a good CPU to handle all the bots, I have an A64 with 2500 MHz shoud be rates as 4000+ i can run 40 bots and the gameplay is still smooth but online , i think the traffic is the problem.
