Using maps

I'm not sure I'm in the right forum, but I have downloaded a map pack and inserted a couple other maps into my BF2 files and I can't go to the maps when I see them on the interface. They are highlighted red as oppsed to the rest of the servers. What do I need to do to use these maps. I have the latest patch, is that what screws it up ? I know in BF 1942 DC it always screwed it up and I'd have to reload the game and every patch I had too. If I'm in the wrong forum please point me in the right direction.

All custom maps should go here: EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Levels\

Maps should have: info - server/client.zip files in the map folder

You cannot play them in single player at this time.
