    How would you....

    Hi everyone I was just wondering how most of you would rank this game compared to other games like CS:S, Far Cry, Doom III, etc... Compare the graphics, gameplay, and so forth. Personally I find BF2 to be one the most addicting games ive played so far. I have played CS for about 4-5 years and it all of a sudden stopped after BF2 was released just because BF2 graphics and gameplay is so well done. I have no lagg and I can do practically whatever I want. Its just Beautiful!!

    Give me some of your thoughts!

      hated CS, don't really care for Farcry, never played doom 3 online (never even finished the SP, was not really impressed with it), half life 2 demo didn't impress me so i never even bought it.

      sof2 is still the best online FPS game i have ever played. if they would just make a sof3 and keep the gameplay style of sof2 with better graphics and fix whatever bugs may have been in sof2, they would have superior game to anything out there

      bf2 isn't all that great either.

          Battlefield 2 is number 1 online shooter ever. But the expansion looks like it could be better (only because it has the SAS in it) lol. Allthough i get better framerates on CS:S BF2 still runs smooth with graphics on high

              I've played another online FPS shooter called Tactical Ops (basically the same as CS) for almost 5 years - but once I laid my hands on BF2 I've barely even played TO. The versatile gameplay and the awesome graphics leaves me breathless! It's definitely the best online shooter ever!

              As for the graphics, I reckon HL2 had better graphics, but only slightly. Completed HL2 3 or 4 times, but after that it gets boring.. With BF2 you never get bored, due to the 64-player server madness, that's something quite different from HL2's single player campaign!

              So:
              Single-player: HL2
              Multiplayer: BF2

                  I thought HL2 was one of the best single players games i've ever played. You really can't find a better shooter than that. This is the first on-line game i've played and i'm never oing back. It is awesome.

                      Loved Doom 3 because that's where I started and I loved seeing the monsters come to life.

                      BF2 is the only game on my computer now (if that says anything)

                          Ya I felt that Hl2 was the best single player game I have ever played. I still believe CS is the best online game for me so far because i have played it for years and I just started BF2 but you never know my mind may change. I haven't played CS:S in awhile b/c of BF2's addicating gameplay but we will see what happens!!!

                          Keep on coming witht he comments.....

                          Also can't wait for DOD:S to be released to see how that is!!

                              BF2 is the only game I have ever played online and I love it. There are just a few issues that need fixing. As for single player games, I am a big fan of the GTA series. Farcry, Halo2 are good. The graphics in Farcry are better. I also like the command & conquer series although I have not played that online. Dont care much for Doom, its too dark and in a way too repetitive.

                              The main thing I like about playing against humans online is the fact that it is far more challenging, the bots in any game are just stupid beyond belief

                              the system requirements are a bit steep though, but I guess that will only get worse as games get bigger and better.

                                  Ever since I played DC on BF1942 I have been hooked on the Battlefield Series...the game is awsome and BF2 rocks....I hear a lot of people tlaking about the gfx but what about the sounds...I mean some maps it actually sounds like you are out in the woods with all the birds chirping and what not....or how you can hear vehicles or troops fighting off in the distance....

                                  Bottom line CS:S is a good game in its onw gener (fast paced person on person CQC) BF2 is the best all out war game hands down...and thats my 2 cents

                                          Before BF2 came out i played BF1942 and BFV for some time and used to play MOH but now only game i play is BF2

                                                  Yeah, BF2 is awesome in the aspect that each different Kit plays alot different then the others. The 64 player maps are so intense & the fact that it is always a different outcome each & every time. This game has SO much potential & longterm playability with the expansions & Mods. EA/DICE has crossed the threshold in gaming advancements. Its just sad that the way gaming companies advance in technology. A little TOOOO fast. It means I have to sink at least $500+ every 6 months or so to keep up with it. (That was some sarcasm... lol Cause we ALL know that Gaming is an expensive hobby)
                                                  As for SOF2 , Hell yeah that game was great for the simple fact that the animations were very comical. (shoot someone in the jewels & they grab them as they slowing go down or the body drop motion of someone who just got their head taken clean off!) Would be nice for an SOF3 but that will never happen.
                                                  I know that game technology is coming along fast, but one thing is for sure. I will NEVER EVER again buy any game no matter how awesome it is, if they allow that Jumping & Shooting Jackrabbit on Crack BS..... EVER EVER EVER@! Rock On!

                                                      I have played MOH/AA and MOH/SH, as well as CoD and CoD/UO. I think BF2 is the best shooter I have ever played.

                                                          i loves me some HL2, specially cause of STEAM and the ease of getting the mods

                                                          cant wait for forgotten hope, and DOD:S(ironsights in DOD, playin on zombie servers sghould be fun, ragdoll when shot in head by k98 sniper will rock)

                                                          but BF2 is extremely fun, i just wish they woulda kept some of the original features like fast rope, that and all the other obvious stuff

                                                          still fun though
