I meant that only in the fact that many companies only wanted to deal in cds and not cartridges rather then stick with them so it was harder to get games out since they wanted to multiplatform the games. While some companies did stick to the cartridges many didnt, better or not. On top of that cds were cheaper and in mass production at the time. I didnt mean it that way sorry if you misunderstood.
