    Pixelated shadows of DOOM.

    Hello,

    First my system specs:

    CPU: Intel P4 3.0 ghz (lga775 w/HT)
    MEM: 1.5GB Kingston HyperX (PC-5600 , 2x256 & 2x512)
    SND: E-mu 1212m DAS
GFX: BFG Geforce 6800GT OC 256mb(16x pci-express,newest rev)

Now, I can play BF2 with everything on HIGH settings including 4x AA and max resolution, I get a steady 50-70 FPS without any stuttering or anything. I even went as far as unlocking the ULTRA mode and everything still runs excellent. The problem I am having is these damn pixelated shadows. The shadows look good for the most part, fram a distance anyways. But if I get close too a vehicle (say a helo on the ground in the wetlands map) the shadows turn into ugly looking boxy black pixels. When i move a bit it will sometime look a little better, It all really depends on the angle. But if im close enough it very ugly and annoying. I have heard this can be fixed with the newest BETA nvidia drivers or using the drivers that come with bf2 demo.. Neither of these fix the problem. It seems to me this is more of a game problem than a hardware/driver problem. Does everyone else get this problem also? Is this how its really supposed to be? Is there any fix/patch for this? If this is how the game was made. I think Dice really needs to add a option for simple blob shadows or something deifferent. Even if not everyones rig can handle it. I would like to see it. thanks for reading.

Yeah, I noticed that last night myself. I don't think there's anything you can do about it.
