In the eyes of the corporate world, kids can never make a difference, especially two normal high school students from an average American town. My fellow gamers, the corporate world is wrong. We are the fonudation for our generation. We are a legion of gamers concieved at the peak of technological advancement. This is our generation, our time, and we need to take control of it.
The average gamer spends $1,000/year on games, gaming equipment and gaming literature. More enthusiastic gamers might pay as much as $5,000+. Once, the gaming industry cared. They created games for the enjoyment of fans, they listened to their communities and improved upon their games as suggested. In no way am I casting slander remarks at these corporate gaming companies but they have lost sight of the true spirit of gaming.
Many communities have grown sour due to poor creator involvement. We will not be like this. This is a gaming community for the gamers, by the gamers.
How do we ever hope to accpomlish this?
The OSR is a gamming community based solely on the contributions of its fans and patrons. Development specialists are encouraged to donate, not money, but game peices. Maps, models, skins, code, storyline you name it, we need it. Be part of this rebellion, its a once in a lifetime chance to make a difference. I am sure there are some who would easily dispute that with, "Its just the internet, how does this make a difference?"
My friends, we live in a technologicaly centered time. Walk around your house and count how many high-tech devices you have. The computer that you are reading this on now is one. The internet is the new stage for rebellion. We are the NetGeneration.

We are an open source gaming development community. We create games based on an under development engine called the "Rebellion" Engine (c) 2005. All games are open source, free and modable and are created from contributions from developers all around the world. Please note that we have a professional site and forums underway and hope to see you soon. Post a comment or two on the blog.
