    Turning radio off

I want to turn that damn radio off I cant stand it anymore. I found the sound files under mods\bf2\common_client.zip but if I delete the files I can't play on any servers because it says they only allow unmodded version of BF2. Is there a way to turn the radio off?

Easy, the little thing plugged into a green hole on the back of your computer, pull it out.

    Problem solved.

What radio? Are you talking about the flag capture/loss and low ticket warnings or the voice chats or something else?

Replace the sound files in your directory with blank ones.

I made a 1kb text file and renamed it the same as one of the sound files and it still said that I had modded bf2 and wouldnt play in a server

What radio ? I have no Radio in the game . In an other thread someone asks if someone can include a radio from BF:V. I never had an radio in this games. What's about all these radios i'm verry confused.

theres no way, you cannot modify ANY of the files.
unfortunately this is not bf42 where you could edit models/skins/sounds/whatever.
