I agree that is probably one of the best BF2 guides I have seen. Just wish I would have read it sooner. It would have saved a lot of time.

I suggest a mod place this in tips and tricks, but yea the guide is very well constructed and the entire site is very useful, been using it a long time.

I suggest a mod place this in tips and tricks, but yea the guide is very well constructed and the entire site is very useful, been using it a long time.

I thought about placing it there but this section gets way more traffic and a ton of tech questions. It's best to have this stuff in everyones face like the other stickies floating around.

I'm just curious - I knew beforehand that the stability of the voltages on your PSU was important but what exactly is considered a stable range? Running Asus Probe, my voltages come out to about:
+12V, 12.48V - 12.544V
+5V, 4.784V - 4.811V
+3.3V, 3.28V - 3.312V
And my VCore is about 1.68V - 1.696V (No idea what VCore is)

The only true way to test your psu is with a multimeter. Software will never be as accurate. Check out www.extremeoverclocking.com if you want to learn all about it.

Really, what's the point? I was an admin on Battlefieldnam.com and have been on forums for 6 years and I STILL don't understand why people must post messages like this.
