    Finding Player ID

Now hold on before you tell me to search the forums and listen carefully to my question:

I need to find out my player id but I cannot use any of the online stats services lookup functionalities. Why? Read http://www.totalbf2.com/forums/showthread.php?t=30026

Is there any way to find out what player id the ingame BFHQ is using to look up stats?

Just curious why you started a second thread on this, when people were already trying to help you there.

Anywho find a file called gp.info in your main C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2 directory. That should have the info you need. But not if you deleted your account, which you did...

In response to the last two replies:

        This thread is entirely different.
I've created a new account with the same name as before. But when I retrieve my stats by player nick anywhere other than BFHQ, I still get my old nick's stats, not the ones I see in BFHQ. That leads me to believe that while the nick of my old and new account is the same, the playerid is not. However all the playerid retrievals on stats websites return the playerid of my old nick.

To further clarify, in gp.info, the number inside the square brackets is your PID. In the case that there is nothing there, delete gp.info completely, and open BF2 and login. It should recreate the file with your PID.
