will this work (Air Defense ribbon)?

so i'm trying to get the Air Defense ribbon which requires you to sit in a stinger for at least 3 minutes and get 11 kills. the most i've gotten was 8. i'm thinking, WHAT IF i'm the commander, sit in a stinger, and kill 11 or so ppl using arty... think i'll get the ribbon?

i could try doing the arty thing the regular way OR resigning as commander to get the x2 kill on arty kills and then just applying again.

think it'll work?

next up, the jet ribbon. the one that requires you to have 19 kills in a jet. since i can't fly, this is probably the easiest way i can get it (aside from learning how to fly)...

I think that would tbh. I know you could sit in an armoured vehicle and get the armoured service ribbon through using artillery. Although I found doing it old school is much more fun Give it a go let us know how you got on!

i, too, accidentally got the Armored Service ribbon just by sitting in a tank and artying a lot of ppl! i was like "what the... i didn't even move my tank!" happened on clean sweep and was i think the first ribbon that i got!

I am sure what you are trying to do will work but I reckon it may pee some people off. I would suggest you hold on to your spawn stinger launcher like maps on Map of Oman and Operation Cleansweep. I might give that a try as I find stingers a bitch to use :x

BTW...killing people with your missles in the Linebacker/Tungsta will give you the ribbon...very easy to do...especially on helicopter heavy maps...got mine easily on Dragon Valley...Just remember...MISSLES...so damage the chopper and then let loose the full 4 missle barrage from close range...even a blackhawk will go down from that...

i got mine exactly like that, but not on purpose... be careful and dont annoy other people while pushing your stats

So you are exploiting the commander position for points and hogging the tank while commander, thus taking it away from your team, and you want people to help you?

It might work. Or find a 64 player dragon valley server and sit on the hill top with the two stinger launchers. That works good too.

Why don't you just jump on a stinger with blackhwaks flying around, 2 blackhawks and you have your ribbion Dailan plant works quite well, especially if you play as PLA and have all land spawns, really easy then.

just go basecamping in a AA tank. then again i actually like using them so i had no trouble getting it

Killing 5-8 infantry with the Tunguska, Linebacker, PSQZ-25 (whatever it is) will get you this ribbon.

i got mine in the linebacker the flak cannon mows down infantry and you dont get a blind spot like the tunguska...
