Goes to show there is no real difference between low end and high end Athlon 64's/Pentium 4's when it comes to BF2. Also very surprised to see the P4 ahead in their tests.

There is no way to reliably test in bf2.

There is no timedemo there is no reliable way to log average / low / high fps marks. Some testers have use fraps to get an average fps but average fps means nothing again without a specific timedemo.

So really this means nothing to be honest

you can't compare those results as the pentium4 ones were done with an x850xt and samsung ram and the athlon64 ones done with gf6800ultra and different corsair ram so there are far too many variables to make for any real comparison.

Good point about the time demo, but in the right hands Fraps can be quite accurate. It just a basic guide for people looking for some info to which processor model to get for BF2.

I didnt realise about the different specs, only noticed it after posting.
