How do you expect help without giving specs?

The computer completely shuts off? As in doesn't restart?

If so, sounds like a Power issue, aka your power supply is too weak to support your new equipment.

Sounds feasible... can you give us your power supply rating, and your entire pc specs so we can see if your PSU is under powered.

Have you tried playing other games, and does this happen also in them. Sounds like you have issues as soon as your GFX is required to do something, again pointing towards PSU probs.

its an Okia powersupply, max output 500w. i think those powersupplies are only w/ my case which is broadway. also a question i had w/ this psu was there was a 6pin adapter. no idea where to put it. any ideas?
i also have a ati radeon 9800pro 128mb card installed. i posted my mobo and processor info up up above. sometimes my pc will just poop on me and reboot. i went to clear my history for internet explorer and it rebooted.

Im also having similar probs with the same card, my PSU is fine, solid rails, plenty of power. Id o get a bit of a game before it resets, but most of the problems i've seen have an ATI card, usually a 9800 or similar.

Never mind, new card arrives tomorrow.
