Cross Platform Multiplayer???

Does anyone know if the online multiplayer is cross platform, that is you can be on a PC playing against someone on an Xbox or Playstation?

Dude that would take a while to get that kind of thing up and running

Srry but that would have its pros and cons i.e. PC would have better graphics and controls than PS2 and Xbox. :)

OK thanks. Just thought with it released on all platforms it would be great to be able to link them via the various online servers.

It exists.
Final Fantasy XI..

But with BF2, who knows. I doubt it will be. From what I have read, there will be new maps, different graphics etc.
