Judging by his stats I'd say he probably ran over most of them in his tank in Karkand. Those tight streets can be mighty dangerous for the lonely foot soldier.

Are you all sure you actually lose points from punishments?

I've been experimenting with our server to see exactly how the punish/kick thing works. I went up to a clanmate and killed him with a knife. I lost four points. For the next TK, I had him punish me. I was surprised to note that only -4 points were deducted.

As it seems you don't lose points for a TK punish, I can only assume that TKs that are punished count towards an autokick where's those that are not punished do not. I'll be testing the later theory when I get some more time.

i was on a server today and a guy on our team kept on bombing us and instead of getting negative points, he got actual kill points for it, wtf??!!!

That may have been the old "incorrect coloured tag" bug.

no, it's a hack.. I have read about it yesterday, either on this forum or on the bf2stats.com forum.. when encountered, take screeny, disconnect, send to the proper channels to get their butts cancelled, and find another server.

no this guy was on our team, in one of our planes. I saw him take off. It even said "Jackass [Teamkills] .... " about 5 to 10 of our guys kept on dying over and over again, cause we didnt have any flags left. This was on Gulf of Oman on the USMC side by the way. Does anyone know if this is a new bug or hack or what?

As mentioned above, it doesn't seem like you lose any points for a punish.

i think the whole punish system needs to be changed u shouldnt be punished for someone running over your mines or you runing them over in a tank or something it should be if you just plain out shot them not if someone is to stupid to see the big red crossbones or drives in to the art range when it says art and showes it on the map and its just crap that people can punish you just cuz you hoped into the jet and they lay infront of it cuz they wanted it or with a tank to its all crap and i think it takes away from the game....well thats my rant

Don't forget that when you destroy an enemy vehicle and a teammate runs by the wreckage and it blows up and kills him. Then you get a tk.
